Adeola is a postgraduate student at the Oxford Department of International Development (ODID) reading for an MSc in Economics for Development. She also holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Manchester and aims to use economic and econometric modeling and its tools as a drive for adequate research and policy-making on the African continent.
Born and raised in Nigeria, she has always been interested in the continent’s strive for development, especially in gender, the use of public resources and finance, inequality, and the sustainable growth and stabilization of African economies in its complex nature.
Beyond her academic and career interests, she also enjoys traveling to experience other cultures and peoples, photography as it captures moments, and reading “beyond the syllabus” as it expands your mind in unimaginable ways.
