Elisabeth Dansoa Osei
Social Policy Cluster Co-convenor at the Blavatnik School of Government.
Elizabeth is an impact-driven and highly motivated young professional currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, as a Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholar. Her policy focus centers on social policies, with particular emphasis on education and social welfare. Elizabeth currently serves as the Social Policy Cluster Co-convenor at the Blavatnik School of Government.
She holds a BA in Political Science with Philosophy from the University of Ghana, where she was actively involved in student leadership as the Women’s Commissioner of the Students' Representative Council (SRC), the Campus Director for the UN Millennium Fellowship and Academic Impact and the Financial Officer of the Political Science Student’s Association.
Prior to coming to Oxford, Elizabeth worked as a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers Ghana, providing strategic policy advice to various governmental and international organizations, including UNICEF, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), and Ghana’s Ministry of Finance. Her expertise spans education, social welfare, business, and international development.
In addition to her professional work, Elizabeth is the founder of the educational initiative Your Child Today, Our President Tomorrow, which seeks to cultivate responsible leadership in Ghana by nurturing the next generation of leaders. Through her involvement with the H.E. John Agyekum Kufuor Scholars’ Program, she has contributed to improving educational outcomes at both the primary and secondary levels across Ghana. Elizabeth is passionate about shaping educational policies that promote a cohesive and inclusive education system across Africa
