Mwangi

Mwangi is a Rhodes Scholar from Kenya taking the MSc in Nature, Society and Environmental Governance. Before joining Oxford, he worked at the British Institute in Eastern Africa (BIEA), the Centre for Human Rights and Policy Studies (CHRIPS) and Oxford’s Refugee Led Research Hub (RLRH) in Nairobi.
Mwangi has written on various urban aspects including the colonial nature of demolitions in Nairobi, urban infrastructures and on the inclusion/exclusion of youths and people with disabilities. His writing has been published in regional and geography-oriented academic journals, national newspaper columns and continental platforms including Review of African Political Economy (ROAPE) and Africa Is A Country. He also writes short fiction stories.
