Mary

Mary Adeyemo

Mary is a DPhil Law student at Wolfson College. Before commencing her DPhil programme she earned her Bachelors of Law from Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria and practiced as a licensed attorney in Nigeria with a tier-one law firm. She is a member of the Center for Health, Law, and Emerging Technologies (HeLEX) and has worked with many reputable organizations including the World Bank Legal Vice Presidency Office, served as a teaching assistant at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, and the lead Facilitator for the Think Like a Lawyer programme run by Wadham College and supported by Linklaters, among others.

 

Mary is passionate about impacting the lives of young people, ensuring and advocating for diversity within and outside the collegiate University. Her commitment to diversity and access earned her the Vice Chancellor's Diversity Award, 2022 under the ‘Highly Commended Student’ category. Also, she won the Oxford Students Union Access and Diversity Award, 2022.
