Hon. Gift Ostallos Siziba

Gift Ostallos Siziba is a trailblazing Zimbabwean politician, academic, and former Member of Parliament. He is the founder of the Centre for Africa Transformation and Youth Leadership (Catalyst Centre). His political career began as a student activist, where he was elected President at the University of Zimbabwe. He later became the national youth secretary general of the Movement for Democratic Change, leading young people in mainstream politics. In August 2023, he made history as one of the youngest Members of Parliament in Zimbabwe's 10th parliament. He was also appointed National Deputy Spokesperson of the main opposition, the Citizen Coalition for Change, as was led by Advocate Nelson Chamisa. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the University of Free State in South Africa as a Canon Collins Scholar.

He is an alumnus of the Mandela Washington Fellowship (2020). He is also an Alumni co- facilitator for the Obama Foundation Leaders for Africa 2024-25 cohort. Gift's expertise has earned him invitations to speak at prominent regional and international platforms, including, the Africa conference, Africa Leadership Academy, Africa social movements Baraza 2025, Harvard Kennedy School and the 2022 Democracy Forum, where he introduced President Barack Obama.
