Communications and PR Coordinator

Paul Siniga is a Standard Bank Africa Chairman’s Scholar currently reading for a MSc in African Studies at the Oxford School of Global and Area Studies, University of Oxford. His academic journey started with a bachelor’s degree in international relations and diplomacy from the Mozambique - Tanzania Centre for Foreign Relations.

Before joining Oxford, He served as the Chief of Staff to the Consulate of the Republic of Seychelles in Tanzania. Additionally, He held the position of Speaker of the Fourth East Africa Youth Parliament in the East African Community. He is a founding board member of Africa Youth Transformation, a youth-led NGO, and a recipient of the Mwalimu Nyerere Pan African Young Leaders Fellowship 2022.

Through actively engaging with various international entities, he represents youth interests at the World Bank Group and the European Union delegation to Tanzania. He is also the Sustainable Development Goals Champion for the United Nations in Tanzania and coordinates the Commonwealth Youth Council engagements in the country, additionally, he served as Tanzania’s UNICEF youth advocate.

In the entrepreneurial sphere, He co-founded and directs, Aguila Group Limited, a consultancy startup operating in Tanzania. His impactful work was recognised in 2019 when he was named one of the 50 Most Influential Tanzanians.

Beyond his current academic pursuits, he is committed to establishing an African impact-driven policy platform upon completing his studies at Oxford. This platform will advocate for sound policies and offer advisory services to enhance international cooperation between Africa and the global community. He aspires to return to Oxford for his doctoral research, aligning with his dedication to academic exploration and contributing to positive change in Africa.
