David Michael

David C. Michael is a PhD Student at the University of Oxford with the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research. His research focuses on finding novel biomarkers for early cancer detection and targets to improve cancer treatment. 

He completed his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Benin, Nigeria and a master's in Human Molecular Genetics from Imperial College London. 

Outside Academia, David had led in several leadership capacities with NGOs including ONE campaign UK, UK model WHO, FECA Nigeria, The Hive Network Africa, and several others.
