Ruth Nanjala is a dedicated leader shaping impactful initiatives across the globe. She was the Program manager for the Oxford Africa Conference 2023 and currently serves as the Vice President of the Africa Society at the University of Oxford.

 

In addition to her leadership roles, Ruth is the driving force behind the 'My Science Journey' webinar series. Through this platform, she invites established scientists to share their personal science narratives, offering mentorship to inspire and guide young scientists toward careers in science. 

 

Ruth’s multifaceted contributions underscore her commitment to mentorship, education, and community building. As the inaugural AfOx Kennedy Trust Prize Studentship Scholar, she is currently pursuing a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Medicine at the University of Oxford.
