Academic Support

AfriSoc, in collaboration with the Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx), provides resources to set African students up for success and promote their research. We organise essay, dissertation and journal writing workshops, DPhil and MSc roundtables, and research seminars. We also organise research conferences like the Focus on Research Africa (FORA) that feature presentations by postgraduate students working on any area of research linked to Africa.
