Mwamvita Makamba is an accomplished professional with extensive knowledge in the information technology industry, particularly in emerging markets. Holding a master's degree in politics and international relations from the University of Dar es Salaam and completing an advanced executive program from the Gordon Institute of Business Science, University of Pretoria, Mwamvita possesses the necessary expertise to successfully lead companies and uphold their moral responsibility to society.


Originally from Tanzania, Mwamvita has held numerous C-level positions over the past 14 years, supporting multinational organizations in expanding their impact across Sub-Saharan Africa. Her diverse roles have focused on collaborating with governments and the private sector to establish productive societies through the utilization of technology, with a specific emphasis on sectors such as health, agriculture, financial services, and education.


In addition to her corporate experience, Mwamvita is the founder of MMCONNECT Africa, an innovative advisory firm that drives strategic engagements by facilitating connections and promoting growth for businesses, individuals, and brands in key African markets.


Mwamvita contributes to various technology projects in Africa as an advisor and investor. She is also a published author, known for her book titled "Things I Tell My Daughter," a collection of inspirations and lessons aimed at empowering the next generation of girls.
