Hardy Pemhiwa is the President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Cassava Technologies. He previously served as Group Chief Executive and Managing Director of Econet Wireless for six years, contributing to the development of one of Africa’s pioneering mobile telecommunications groups.

He brings over 20 years of senior executive experience, with extensive board-level leadership across Eastern and Southern Africa. His professional background spans financial services, development banking, telecommunications, media, and infrastructure, reflecting a broad cross-sector leadership portfolio.

He holds engineering and business qualifications from Queen Mary University of London and the Edinburgh Business School.
