Luzana Costa serves as a Partner within Norrsken Africa Seed Fund, an early-stage impact

fund investing in scalable technology ventures solving the most significant problems in Africa.

Before joining Norrsken, she was the Post-Investment Ops Manager at Balderton Capital. Her role focused on problem-solving at scale and helping portfolio companies build high-performing teams and operate in hypergrowth.

Luzana started in tech investing at Entrepreneur First, the world’s leading Talent Investor, and deep tech Venture Builder. While at EF, she managed talent operations, sourcing the highest caliber technical talent and aiding them in starting some of Europe’s best early-stage deep tech startups - NeoPlants, Sonantic, Fabric Nano, and others.

Before entering the tech industry, Luzana spent the better part of a decade working on multi-million-dollar energy projects across the globe at A.P. Møller – Mærsk, one of the world’s largest business conglomerates in the transport, logistics, and energy sectors.

Luzana holds an MSc. in Groundwater Hydrology Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and a bachelor's in Geology. Hailing from her native Angola, she has lived in five countries, is fluent in Portuguese and English, and conversational French and Spanish.
