Theo Baloyi is a South African entrepreneur best known as the founder and Group CEO of Bathu, one of Africa’s leading premium sneaker brands.

Born and raised in Phake, a small town on the outskirts of Pretoria, Theo comes from a hardworking family background. He completed his schooling at Mabothe Senior Secondary School before pursuing tertiary education at Damelin and later graduating from the University of South Africa with a BCom degree in Accounting Sciences.

Before becoming a full-time entrepreneur, Theo worked at PwC South Africa in asset management, strategy, and financial management. He later represented PwC in the Middle East, working in Dubai and Saudi Arabia for three years.

In 2015, Theo transitioned into entrepreneurship full-time and focused on growing Bathu into a major African footwear brand. His work has been recognized for promoting youth employment, African innovation, and black entrepreneurship in South Africa.
