Andreana Ayiilaboro Awog-Badek is a Ghanaian medical doctor, a Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholar, and a Sloane Robinson Foundation Scholar at the University of Oxford, where she holds an MSc in International Health and Tropical Medicine. At Oxford, she serves on the Africa Oxford Society Mentorship Committee, supporting prospective African applicants to become competitive candidates. She is also actively involved in international health diplomacy and debate through the Oxford Diplomatic Society and the Oxford Union. Andreana is delighted to contribute to the Oxford Africa Conference, with a strong commitment to amplifying African voices, championing African talent, and advancing innovative solutions for sustainable development across the continent. Her professional interests include health systems strengthening, global surgery, and the ethical dimensions of healthcare innovation and delivery, with a particular focus on advancing health equity and reducing disparities in access to high-quality, affordable healthcare.
