Evans Aryeh
Sponsorships & Partnerships Coordinator
Evans Aryeh is a Doctor of Pharmacy graduate from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and is currently pursuing an MSc in Pharmacology at the University of Oxford as an AfOx Scholar. He serves as the Treasurer of the Oxford Africa Society and is a member of the fundraising team for the AfriSoc Oxford Africa Conference 2026.
His research focuses on the medicinal potential of African botanical plants, driven by a strong belief in the untapped therapeutic value of the continent’s rich biodiversity. He has previously worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant in the Department of Pharmacology, contributing to early-stage drug discovery projects involving indigenous plant species such as Plumeria acutifolia and Antiaris toxicaria.
Beyond academia, Evans is actively engaged in healthcare innovation and community development. As Research Lead—and former IT Lead—at Erith Health Services in Ghana, he played a key role in securing a World Food Programme grant to support the development of a digital healthcare training platform, which is now being scaled across West Africa. He has also led health outreach programmes and coordinated donation drives in Accra through his work with the organisation.
