Sagel Julia Kundieko is a Rhodes and Clarendon Scholar completing her DPhil in Neuroscience at St Johns College, Oxford. She holds four degrees with distinction and merit from Oxford and the University of Cape Town. She is driven by a strong commitment to mentorship, equity in access to academic opportunities, and empowering young people to thrive within and beyond higher education.

As Marketing Director for the Oxford Africa Conference, she leads branding and digital engagement, drawing on her experience organising conferences and large-scale events. She also serves as the Welfare Officer of the Oxford Africa Society, where she supports student wellbeing and contributes extensively to the AfriSoc–AfOx mentorship initiative. Alongside this, she is the founder of Elle Zeka, a digital marketing company focused on helping African entrepreneurs grow their online presence. She is delighted to contribute to this year’s conference through strategic branding and digital storytelling, with a focus on amplifying African voices and strengthening the conference’s reach and impact.
