Hospitality Lead
I am a DPhil candidate in Economics at the University of Oxford, based at Linacre College. Originally from Benin, I am deeply committed to international development—a passion shaped by both my academic background and years of experience working with international development agencies. My research at Oxford explores how public policies influence state-building and social identity formation in ethnically diverse communities.
As part of my community engagement, I mentor students from underrepresented backgrounds by helping them with academic guidance and application advice. At the Department of Economics, I also serve as co-convenor of the Peer-Presentations Seminar Series, which offers DPhil candidates a supportive platform to present and discuss their research with their peers. Within the Oxford African Society, I serve as Social Secretary, organizing events that foster connection and bring our community together.
